Verified backups, never assumed
Every backup gets a periodic restore-to-isolated-environment test. A backup that has not been restored is a backup you do not have.
Documented change management
Every production change is reviewed, scheduled in a maintenance window where possible, and rolled back via a documented procedure if anything deviates from expected behaviour.
Direct engineer escalation
Phone and email reach a senior infrastructure engineer within 15 minutes during business hours, within an hour outside. No first-line filter.
Quarterly architecture review
Every managed environment is reviewed against current best practices, security advisories and growth patterns four times per year. Issues are tracked and addressed before they become incidents.

Note: this is the default stack. Engagements that require zero US-touch — e.g. public sector or DORA-regulated workloads — run on a hardened variant where every "under review" or "alt available" item is replaced with the EU-only counterpart and documented in your DPA.
